A gift has a purchaser, a recipient and a story. Keep those details with the value, so your team can help at purchase, at checkout and at the next visit.
Offer a clinic-branded purchase online, with an in-clinic option for your team.
Add a recipient, a message and the day you want the gift to be sent.

Apply part of the balance to an invoice and retain the rest for another visit.
Review card transactions, outstanding balances and dated redemptions.

Your clinic, from the first step
Patients and gift-givers can purchase through your clinic-branded portal. Choose an amount, provide the recipient’s details and add a message before payment.
The purchase flow makes the recipient explicit, with contact details to connect the gift to the right person.
Your clinic’s branding stays with the purchase, while the gift connects to the patient and billing record.
The recipient’s name.
A message in your words.
A gift from your clinic.
In-clinic purchases
Create a gift card from billing for the current patient, an existing recipient or someone new. Keep the purchaser, recipient and payment together, with a choice of who receives the email.
The person buying the gift does not have to be the person who uses it.
Your team can choose recipient and purchaser emails, including when a gift is being handed over in person.
Recipient and timing
Send the gift now or choose a later date. Online scheduled gifts are set for 8 am in the clinic’s time zone; your team can review and change a future delivery from the card record.

A future send date gives the gift its own moment.
A message stays with the recipient’s gift, so it feels like it came from the person who chose it.
Staff can reschedule a future send with a date and time, or cancel its schedule. Scheduled means planned to send, rather than proof it reached an inbox.
Gift-card promotions
Create flat, percentage or stepped bonus-value offers, with a brand, date range and purchase limits. Choose whether an offer is available online, and keep the clinic-funded bonus separate from the amount paid.
$50 of clinic-funded bonus value
Set the qualifying spend and promotional value, with a code for an online offer.
In this example, a $250 purchase receives $50 of bonus value. The recipient has $300 to use; the clinic has received $250.
Connected to billing
Find the gift card by its barcode in the payment selector. Review the owner, expiry and available balance, then choose the amount to apply to the invoice.
The amount is limited by the card’s available balance and what is owing on the invoice.

After a $120 payment
$180still available on the gift cardA $120 payment from a $300 gift leaves $180 available. The card record keeps the debit alongside the earlier credits.
A record your team can explain
Open the card to see available and initial balances, purchaser or recipient, barcode, status and expiry. Transaction history records credits and debits, including promotional credit and the person responsible where available.
Answer a question about the remaining balance without piecing together separate messages.
Expiry editing follows the user’s permission and the card’s status. Delivery actions remain part of the same card record.
Reporting and review
Two views answer two different questions. Gift Cards shows outstanding balances now. Gift Card Redemptions shows the value used against invoices over a selected period.

The Gift Cards report includes positive balances on active and expired cards, grouped by currency. It has a location filter and no sale-date filter.
Review when gift value paid an invoice, where it was used and how much was applied. This activity is separate from the amount originally paid for a gift.
Trust and compliance
Bring the details your team needs into the record, with deliberate actions around payment, expiry and delivery.
Feature availability depends on your plan, enabled features and access permissions.

Yes. At invoice payment, the team looks up the gift card by barcode and chooses the amount to use. The amount cannot exceed the available balance or the invoice amount owing. The remaining value stays on the card, with a transaction recorded for the amount used.
Yes. Promotions support flat, percentage and stepped bonus value, with a clinic brand, date range and purchase limits. Online offers use a promotion code. The amount paid and the clinic-funded bonus are recorded separately, so gift value is not confused with money received.
The gift-card detail shows balance, status, barcode, purchaser or recipient, expiry and transaction history. Expiry editing requires the relevant permission and an active card. Your clinic remains responsible for its gift-card terms and expiry decisions.
Gift Cards is a point-in-time report of outstanding positive balances on active and expired cards, with currency and location context. It does not use a sale-date filter. Gift Card Redemptions is a separate dated report of gift value used to pay invoices. Neither should be treated as the cash received from selling gift cards in that period.
